This year, we're delivering almost 90% of all taught sessions face-to-face, on campus. It's the teaching we're famous for: group discussions, 激烈辩论, 实践与设备, 实践主动学习.

We're keeping a small proportion of teaching online, 不是因为限制, but because our students have told us some particular parts of the curriculum have worked better that way.

It is important to note that whatever specific 政府ernment advice is in place at any time, we also have a duty of care to all our students and staff. The rates of covid continue to be high and so covid remains a significant risk to consider for the Marjon population.

If you have symptoms of covid-19, you should not come to campus until you feel well, and you do not have a high temperature.

You no longer have to test twice a week when coming to campus.

If you have symptoms, you may not be able to confirm whether or not it is covid. 和任何疾病一样, you are expected to stay away from others until you feel well and you do not have a high temperature.

Try to avoid being on campus if you can, particularly in close contact with others. 避免与它们密切接触, limit contact with people who you do not live with, particularly indoors or in crowded spaces, wash your hands regularly and wear a face covering when in close contact with others. It is worth being aware that it can take up to 10 days after contact for the virus to develop.

The NHS test and trace system is no longer operational.

We will maintain some key measures to keep us safer. 这些都是:

Do you need to tell the university if you have symptoms of covid or test positive?

学生:

1. Let your tutors know if you will be missing classes. Please do not go to class if you have tested positive or have symptoms as this could easily have an impact on others.
2. In addition, if you live on campus only, please email coronavirus@llcps.com 让他们知道. This is to ensure we keep our members of staff safe such as cleaners and contractors.

工作人员:

1. Let your line manager know as you usually would if you are ill or have an infectious disease. 即使你不觉得不舒服, and able to work from home with no impact, your manager may have to be aware that they cannot ask you to come in for a period. If you are feeling ill you should report this in the usual sick leave procedure, and they will want to check in on you and that you are OK.

3. Line Managers do not have to complete a risk assessment but should manage the operational complexities of having covid in the team in the way they normally would with covering any illness. People can physically return to the campus five days after testing positive, but if you can manage it within the team, 10 days would be preferable to avoid more operational disruption from passing covid on.
